Mrs Craig is a wonderful caring doctor and if I were to give her marks out of ten it would be eleven.

I absolutely love Mrs Craig and trust her completely. Mrs Craig talks in a way that makes me feel respected and empowered. As I know a fair bit about my condition/anatomy she always explains things to me in a way that is accessible but never patronising. She also uses diagrams to aid my understanding and help me to make informed choices about my care. She even did this when I first met her in hospital, although my surgery was not elective (and there wasn't really any alternative) she still took the time to explain to me exactly what would happen and what I would be left with. When my surgery had to be cancelled due to emergency cases she came to see me personally to apologise which made me feel valued. She is very straight talking which means you know exactly where you are at rather than other doctors I've met who can be quite vague or just plain confusing. She answers questions directly and clearly and takes my concerns seriously. She is contactable through her wonderful secretary Gill and between them, I never feel 'abandoned' between appointments, I know that if I have a problem they will make sure I am seen. Even when I know I'm being squeezed into a clinic, I never feel rushed. Wherever possible, Mrs Craig works around my life, factoring in holidays, education and work commitments to reduce the disruption to me. It may not seem like much but it makes a huge difference to feel like my care can work around me rather than me having to cancel events/use annual leave to attend appointments. Nothing seems like too much trouble, she sorts out all the faffy things like referrals, follow ups, and letters to employers/insurance etc very quickly without making me feel as though I am causing any hassle. I feel very happy to have Mrs Craig in charge of my care.

Christine has been very welcoming and nice. She is a great listener. She also has been able to really explain me my suffering. This all makes me feel very confident about the treatment chosen
